Stanford University Minority Medical Alliance (SUMMA) is an organization based at Stanford University that is made up of all medical students. This major organization is comprised of representatives from various other student organizations on the Stanford campus. Such organizations include the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA), Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) and Stanford American Indigenous Medical Students (SAIMS).
All of these student organizations have the collective goal of recruiting and retaining medical students from underrepresented groups. The overarching goal of SUMMA is to increase access of minority students in the health field so that their respective communities are served.
20th ANNUAL PREMEDICAL CONFERENCE
It was announced Wednesday afternoon that this annual conference highlighting students in premedical majors and providing access to premedical/pre-health advisors will be hosted on Saturday, February 12, 2010.

All students interested in a health related major or career are encouraged to attend. The financial aid component with be extremely important for students looking for college scholarships and a way to pay for tuition and educational expenses.
