Peyton Manning Retiring, According to Rob Lowe
Rob Lowe has always been a popular actor. Fans have enjoyed his roles on both television and the silver screen. So it comes as no surprise that Lowe has a great deal of followers on Twitter.
That is why one of his most recent tweets has received much attention. Today, Lowe announced to the world that he had sources confirming that legendary NFL quarterback Peyton Manning would be officially retiring from the league today. Lowe is personal friends with Colts owner Jim Irsay.
Manning has been out for one year with a surgically repaired neck. Manning is still working on regenerating the nerves affected by his injuries and many are wondering when and if Manning would ever return. In addition, with the recent changes in personnel within the Indianapolis Colts organization, many are speculating that since everyone that has been around for the Peyton Manning era has been let go, the ownership might be preparing to let go of Manning himself.
Manning’s father Archie was quick to shoot down the rumors after being questioned by ESPN. As of press time, there have been no announcements of Manning’s retirement.
The NFL offseason is expected to be a very interesting one as the Peyton Manning saga is beginning to unfold. There is no certainty where Peyton will be play come next season.
