Usually when we hear about paternity suits in the music industry, it is about a rock star or a rapper. The last time we reported about a music star being involved in a paternity case it was the Grammy Award Winning Lil Wayne. This time, it is teen wonder Justin Bieber.
Mariah Yeater of California is claiming that her three-month-old son is the illegitimate child of pop star Justin Bieber. Yeater, who is now 20, says when she was 19 she had sex with Bieber, who is 17, backstage after a concert in Los Angeles one year ago.
Yeater has asked for Bieber to take a paternity test. She wants Bieber to begin to pay child support.
Bieber, who is currently in a relationship with Disney starlet Selena Gomez, has completely denied the accusations.
In the past, Bieber has been very open about his views on sex and made it clear that he believes sex is between two people in love and not a casual thing.
From our analysis of the situation, my guess is Yeater is out for publicity.
