Obama Says Economy Is Improving

San Francisco (Obama.net)-

On Tuesday, President Barack Obama visited Youngstown, Ohio to praise the successes associated with his economic policies. Obama spoke about the number of jobs produced via his plans. Obama also spoke out against Republicans for attempting to block his actions from ever coming to life.

Obama spoke to workers in a pipe construction plant. He told the workers that “Despite all the naysayers in Washington…the fact is our economy is growing.” To back his statement the President mentioned the rate of job growth over since January.

Obama said of the Republicans who went against his stimulus plan, “if we had done things the way they wanted to go, we’d be in a deeper world of hurt than we are right now.” He went on to criticize those same Republicans for taking part in ceremonies throughout the United States for the jobs created by the same plan they tried to shoot down.

President Obama has always had confidence in the potential of the stimulus plan from a year ago, but now the evidence of the plan’s success is becoming more evident to the American people. And with that success, Obama and the Democratic Party are regaining their previously slipping credibility. Obama is even knocking the Republicans, as with each day they are looking more and more foolish for trying to block Obama’s bills.

The work force for the company owning the plant Obama visited, V & M Star, is projected to double by the end of 2011 and has already seen a good portion of those jobs implemented.

As primary elections are already taking place in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Arkansas, Obama’s visits and proclamations about the success of his policies have boosted the chances of Democrat’s retaining the majority in the House of Representatives for the second half of Obama’s presidential term. If such a case becomes reality, the improvements Obama has brought to the United States following the Presidency of George W. Bush, which saw the National Debt more than double, will only increase to positively impact America.
