Today, MTV is going to be the hottest channel on television one more time. It has been a while since MTV was must-see TV, but with what is on deck for tonight, all eyes will be on Music Television.
The night is going to start with arguably the most anticipated episode Jersey Shore to date. At 7pm, fans are going to tune in to see the big fight between Ronnie and Mike, aka The Situation. Many have been waiting since season one to see Mike finally get his mouth shut, and Ronnie is the one who finally did it. The fight and the fallout will air tonight before the VMA’s at 7pm on MTV.
That brings us to the VMA’s. The Video Music Awards is one of the biggest award shows in the music industry.
The highlights of the night are expected to be the performances by Chris Brown and arguably the two biggest musical acts going today, Lil Wayne and Lady Gaga.
Lil Wayne and Chris Brown will also go at it to see who wins Best Hip Hop Video. Lucky for Wayne, if Brown wins, so does Wayne since he is in Brown’s “Look At Me Now” music video and song.
With Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj up for numerous awards, it could very easily end up being a very Young Money night. And to cap it all off, Tha Carter IV drops digitally online after the award show ends and it drops in stores Monday morning.
