This week, during a press conference for Sector Watches at the Trump Soho Hotel in New York City, Kris Humphries finally spoke to the media about his divorce from Kim Kardashian after only 72 days of wedlock.
Humphries first thanked Sector Watches for the endorsement deal and the opportunity to work with them. Humphries touted the brand’s watches and announced that part of the money he gets for the endorsement will be going to his charity, which is a foundation to battle childhood obesity. The luxury watch company is based in Italy.
Humphries, who is currently an NBA free agent, is reportedly getting $150,000 for the deal. Until the NBA owners and players can agree on a new collective bargaining agreement, Humpries will need to seek his paychecks away from the courts of the NBA.
Humphries said that dealing with the divorce has been very difficult for him. He indirectly made it clear that any speculation of the couple being together again is simply rumor.
But now with a new endorsement deal, it seems that things are looking up for Humphries after divorcing with Kardashian and dealing with the NBA lockout.
