Kim Kardashian Cohosts Live With Kelly, Talks about Divorce

In one of her first big appearances since ending her 72 day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian cohosted Live With Kelly this morning.

Kardashian, who got the gig today due to the retirement of television legend Regis Philbin, spoke with Kelly Ripa about the divorce. Kardashian simply said, “It’s been a hard couple of months.”

Kardashian told Ripa that when she decided to leave Humphries she only grabbed some sweatpants and pajamas and went straight to her mother’s home.

Kim then expressed her shock at how people thought the entire marriage was a publicity stunt put together to make money.

She made it clear that if it really was a money scheme, she would have stayed married longer and made it look better. She said that if it was really all about the money, she would not have left Humphries so quickly.

The reality star told Ripa, “I want that forever love and if I feel in my heart this isn’t right, then why wait years to have the same results?”

Now Kardashian is essentially rebuilding and putting her life back together. Humphries is currently enjoying a successful season for the New Jersey Nets of the NBA.
