Romney Grabs 3 More States, Wins Maryland, Washington DC, and Wisconsin

Much like expected, Mitt Romney has secured enough of the vote to be determined the winner in the three Republican primaries today. Romney has taken first place in Wisconsin, Washington DC, and Maryland today.

In Maryland and Wisconsin, Rick Santorum has taken second place. And in Washington DC, Ron Paul is projected to grab the number two spot.

The bad news keeps on coming for Santorum and Paul as all three states are winner take all primaries. That means that Romney gets 16 delegates for Washington DC, 18 for Wisconsin, and 25 for Maryland. That brings the total for the day to 59 for Romney and zero for everyone else.

With Romney even closer to securing the Republican Nomination, we must again ask when will Santorum, Gingrich, and Paul pack it in and go home. It is time for these three men to call it a day and focus on November.

As of right now, none of the four men stands much of a chance against President Obama. With resources further running out and the four men attacking each other, their odds of even putting up a fight against Obama in November is shrinking slimmer and slimmer.
