This weekend, rapper, producer, and actor Nick Cannon was checked into a Los Angeles area hospital. He was suffering from what has been called “mild kidney failure.” The problems began in Aspen, Colorado during Cannon’s holiday vacation with his family consisting of his wife Mariah Carey and their twin children Monroe and Moroccan.
A spokesperson for Cannon said, “He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes, and prayers.”
The same spokesperson told the media that Cannon is in good enough shape that he will be back in the studio next week to host his radio show based in New York City.
Cannon, who is 31 years of age, was initially admitted to a hospital in Aspen before being checked into a Los Angeles hospital. Cannon did send out a tweet to let his fans know he is appreciative of the support and that he would be fine.
Cannon will soon be back to his normal self. Until then, he is at home with his wife and two young children and will continue to be at home in comfort with them for the remainder of the week.
