It seems that the once extremely promising young actress Lindsay Lohan, who had a very well publicized fall from grace due to drug addiction among numerous other personal problems, is finally getting things back together.
Last night, it was announced during the telecast of Saturday Night Live on NBC that the March 3rd edition of the show will be hosted by Lohan.
Lohan has no other work right now. She is not filming a movie or promoting a project. Due to her legal and personal problems, she has not filmed anything major in a very long time. The most mainstream thing she has recently done was posing inside the pages and on the cover of Playboy magazine.
However, Lohan is trying to project a new image on the world. She is trying to show her fans, and her former fans, that she is no longer addicted to drugs and is no longer sick. She is trying to show the world that she is ready to stage her comeback.
It might not be a multi-million dollar movie or a Broadway production or even a TV series, but her upcoming appearance on SNL will show the world that she can still act, work with others, and that she can still be America’s starlet.
