Today is the 30th birthday of pop legend Britney Spears.
Spears has been a superstar in the music industry since she was a teenager. To date, she has sold over one hundred million albums all over the world and 33 in the United States.
While her legacy has been questioned and stained in recent years due to choices in her personal life, Spears has redeemed herself and regained her spot among the best entertainers in the world.
Spears propelled into superstardom in 1998 with her debut album Baby One More Time. Her first four albums sold 68 million albums worldwide combined. Six of her seven albums hit number one, with Blackout from 2007 making it all the way to number two. She also is owner of four number one singles in the United States.
Now at 30 and the mother of two, Spears’ life is back on track and she is enjoying great success inside and outside of the studio.
Today Spears received countless birthday wishes from various friends including Wilmer Valderrama, Heidi Klum, Nick Cannon, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ellen DeGeneres, and DJ Pauly D who was her a DJ for a little while.
Today is just another milestone for Britney Spears as her work ethic is sure to bring more success in the coming years.
