In a shocking turn of events, Canadian music star Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend Brody Jenner were attacked just outside of the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
Reportedly, five people attacked the singer and her “Hills” boyfriend outside the hotel.
Lavigne wrote on her Twitter, “I don’t fight. I don’t believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool,” and “So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”
Lavigne reported suffering from a black eye, a bloody nose, cuts, scratches, bruises, and having some hair ripped out.
Jenner, who is the son of Kim Kardashian’s stepfather, thus her stepbrother, reported having a scar on his face after exiting the hospital. He confirmed the incident on his Twitter as well.
No suspects have been made public in the case as the Los Angeles Police Department is on the case and looking into the matter. There is no known reason for the attack and why anyone would have committed it. It is not clear whether it was a direct attack on Lavigne and Jenner or an indiscriminate act of violence.
