Michael Jackson Remembered, Children Immortalize Father

Anyone who has visited Hollywood or lived in the city knows that the ground in front of the legendary Grauman Chinese Theater is famous for the concrete handprints, signatures, and various imprints of celebrities.

This week, the legendary King of Music Michael Jackson was immortalized on the famed walkway. Jackson’s signature glove from Thriller and his shoe were imprinted in front of the theater by his three children.

Hundreds of people, including celebrities such as Quincy Jones, Smokey Robinson, Chris Tucker, and Justin Bieber, were in attendence for the ceremony. Other family members on hand for the event were Jackson’s mother Katherine and two of his brothers, Jackie and Tito.

Tito said, “Michael, we miss you, that’s for sure. There’s hardly a day that goes by without him going on in my mind somehow, someway, and I know he is here today with us.”

Paris Jackson imprinted the glove. She signed her dad’s name and added a heart. Jackson’s two sons imprinted the shoe. Paris, Prince Michael, and Blanket all imprinted their handprints next to their father.

Through his three children and his millions of fans, the legacy of Michael Jackson, one of if not the greatest entertainer of all time, continues to live on as strong as it ever has.
