Apple to Announce New MacBook Pros, Thinner Design Expected

On Friday, February 10th, 2012 in Technology by Mark Ryabtsev.

By the end of 2012, it is expected that all Apple notebooks will look just like the MacBook Air. That includes the MacBook Pro.

The sleek and thin design has proven to be extremely popular among consumers in the United States. The Air has nearly tripled in sales per three months in the last 4 years.

Apple is moving towards making the Pro a lightweight computer. Essentially, it would be a MacBook Air on steroids, with more power and more capabilities.

Much like what happened to the old white MacBooks, the current design of the MacBook Pro is going to be slowly phased out this year and is going to be off the market beginning in 2012.

Those close to Apple are saying that first the 15 inch model of the MacBook Pro will go through the makeover and then the 17 inch model will get its new look.

There is already growing excitement throughout the computer world. Many are already talking about potential other changes that might come with the new computers.

The good news is that in less than 12 months we will all know just what Apple has in store for 2013.
